We are ready for 5G IoT! Our 2 European IoT projects have come to an end: here are some comments.

Are you 5G-ready ?

Looking back at H1 2020, we have just achieved our 2 collaborative R&D projects on 5G technologies.

NGPaaS (https://ngpaas.eu), a H2020 5G-PPP project led between 2017 and end of 2019, was a great success and was awarded by the European Commission for its outstanding results thanks to all involved partners, including Nokia, Orange, Atos or BT and startups like Virtual Open Systems (VoSYS).

As the IoT platform for the NGPaaS architecture, which re-designed the whole telecom value chain with 5G, making DevOps, Cloud and Containers the new pillars of a telecom network, we had the opportunity to turn CommonSense IoT Platform® into a 5G-ready platform.

With SCORPION (https://scorpionfui23.vertical-m2m.com/), another 5G-PPP project (with French partners, including Nokia) from late 2017 to Q1 2020, we were able to enhance our CommonSense IoT Platform® capabilities and be compliant with slicing over 5G networks for massive or critical IoT use cases.

Relying on this extended experience, we are now ready to support you on your IoT journey, including with the forthcoming 5G technology!
