Vertical M2M started the FUI 23 SCORPION project on 5G leveraged by French clusters Systematic & Minalogic

The SCORPION project is a FUI23 project (Fonds Unique Interministériel - collaborative projects labelled by French clusters), which is going to last 24 months (September 2017 - August 2019), labelled by Systematic (Paris region) and MINALOGIC (Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes) clusters relating to 5G architectures applied to the IoT. It regroups company partners (Nokia France, Virtual Open Systems & Vertical M2M) and research laboratories (Université de La Rochelle & Université de Marne-La-Vallée).
The objective of this project is to provide the resources or "slices" for the required 5G network, dynamic and optimized for two types of IoT use cases: Massive IoT and low latency.The demonstrator will be about the management of IoT resources in the context of 5G applied to the energy field.
